Cadena de Estrellas / Star Chain

Hice este colgante para decorar la puerta de entrada de mi depto.
Está hecho con 6 estrellas lucky y 3 estrellas moravian, todas hechas con tiras de papel.
Espero que les guste!

I did this chain to decorate the entrance door of my flat.
It is done with 6 lucky stars and 3 moravian stars, all of them done with paper stripes.

Esta es la pared móvil de Heinz Strobl, los cubos y las uniones están hechos con tiras de papel.
Es realmente divertido moverlos :)

This is the wobbling wall by Heinz Strobl, the cubes and joints are done with paper stripes.

Hecho con 30 módulos de papel bifaz verde y dorado.

Este diseño es de Yami Yamauchi. Es un caleidociclo interactivo que va girando para convertirse en diferentes formas.

This was designed by Yami Yamauchi. It´s an interactive design that turns into different forms when you spin it.

Estrellitas / Stars

Estas estrellas también provienen del site de E. Lukasheva, que publicó los diagramas - kusudama.me
La estrella rosa es de la colección Septima y lo hice con 3 papeles italianos Fabriano y 3 papeles estampados Yoshi Yoshi
Las otras 2 estrellas son el modelo Dominanta, la pequeña hecha en papel afiche y la grande verde con papel Fabriano.

These stars also come from E. Lukasheva´s site, who published the diagrams - kusudama.me
The pink star is from Septima collection, done with 3 squares of italian paper Fabriano and 3 flowered squares of Yoshi Yoshi paper.
The other 2 stars are from Dominanta collection, the small one in poster paper and the green one with Fabriano.

Este kusudama está armado con 30 módulos, fue plegado por mi en diciembre 2011 a partir del diagrama publicado por E. Lukasheva en su página web - kusudama.me
Ella tiene muchas figuras hermosas publicadas, así que en el futuro van a ver en mi blog más trabajos basados en sus diagramas.
El papel utilizado para esta figura se hace en Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, no es lindo?

This kusudama is done with 30 modules, it was folded by me in December 2011 from the diagram published by E. Lukasheva in her website -kusudama.me 
She published many lovely figures, so you´ll probably see more work based on her diagrams in future blog entries.
The paper used for this kusudama is done in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, isn´t it beautiful?

Grullas / Cranes

Casi siempre, la primer cosa en la que pensamos cuando alguien dice Origami es... grullas. Es un símbolo de buena suerte y felicidad, y un plegado tradicional para muchas ocasiones.

Almost every time when someone mentions Origami, we think of... cranes. They are a symbol of good luck and happiness, and a traditional fold for many ocassions.

La semana pasada di mi primer taller de origami, en la empresa donde trabajo, Accenture.
Hicimos 5 figuras,
-Flor hecha con servilleta de papel
-Camiseta hecha con sobrecito de te
-Estrella que se transforma Aro (imagenes abajo) - Diagrama en el libro: 50 model por Roberta Nila
-Cubo con módulos sonobe
-Grulla

Last week I did the first origami workshop in the company where I work, Accenture.

SNAP icosaedro / ichosaedron

No es estrictamente origami, pero se le acerca bastante :) Este es un icosaedro utilizando la técnica de SNAP de Heinz Strobl. Está hecho con 20 módulos triangulares y 30 uniones.

This is not strictly origami, but it´s pretty close :) Below you can see an icosahedron using the SNAP technique of Heinz Strobl. It was done with 20 triangular modules and 30 joints.

Kusudama 40 flores / 40 flowers

Kusudama tradicional, hecho con 40 flores. Literalmente, kusudama significa "esfera medicinal" porque originalmente se utilizaban para  contener inciensos y flores aromáticas. pero en la actualidad se utilizan sobre todo como decoración.

A traditional kusudama, done with 40 flowers. Kusudama means "medicinal ball" because it was originally used to contain incense and potpourri. Nowadays, it is used for decoration.

Siguiendo con las estrellas... una figura que actualmente está decorando mi box en la oficina. 8 módulos, muy fácil de hacer

Still on the subject of stars... a figure currently decorating my box in the office. Very easy to fold, done with 8 modules.

Diagrama de cada módulo / Module diagram

Colocar pegamento en la parte del módulo que quedó blanca, sin color y pegar el módulo siguiente

Glue the part of the module that has no colour and paste the next module.

Rotar al finalizar. Rotate when finished
