Grullas / Cranes

Casi siempre, la primer cosa en la que pensamos cuando alguien dice Origami es... grullas. Es un símbolo de buena suerte y felicidad, y un plegado tradicional para muchas ocasiones.

Almost every time when someone mentions Origami, we think of... cranes. They are a symbol of good luck and happiness, and a traditional fold for many ocassions.

Estrella Aro / Star Ring

Buenos días!

La semana pasada di mi primer taller de origami, en la empresa donde trabajo, Accenture.
Hicimos 5 figuras,
-Flor hecha con servilleta de papel
-Camiseta hecha con sobrecito de te
-Estrella que se transforma Aro (imagenes abajo) - Diagrama en el libro: 50 model por Roberta Nila
-Cubo con módulos sonobe
-Grulla

Last week I did the first origami workshop in the company where I work, Accenture.
We made the following 5:
-Flower with a paper napkin
-T-shirt with tea bag
-Star that becomes a Ring (pics below) - Diagram in the book: 50 model by Roberta Nila
-Cube with sonobe modules
-Crane

Qué piensan de estos anillos de 8 módulos? Lindos para decorar el arbolito de navidad?

Dragon

Un dragoncito del libro "Origami para grandes y chicos" de Zülal Aytüre - Schele
Como pueden ver en mi foto de perfil, hice unos cuantos para entregar como souvenir de una reunión de amigos.

SNAP icosaedro / ichosaedron

No es estrictamente origami, pero se le acerca bastante :) Este es un icosaedro utilizando la técnica de SNAP de Heinz Strobl. Está hecho con 20 módulos triangulares y 30 uniones.

This is not strictly origami, but it´s pretty close :) Below you can see an icosahedron using the SNAP technique of Heinz Strobl. It was done with 20 triangular modules and 30 joints.

Kusudama 40 flores / 40 flowers

Kusudama tradicional, hecho con 40 flores. Literalmente, kusudama significa "esfera medicinal" porque originalmente se utilizaban para  contener inciensos y flores aromáticas. pero en la actualidad se utilizan sobre todo como decoración.

A traditional kusudama, done with 40 flowers. Kusudama means "medicinal ball" because it was originally used to contain incense and potpourri. Nowadays, it is used for decoration.

Estrella 8 módulos / 8 module Star

Siguiendo con las estrellas... una figura que actualmente está decorando mi box en la oficina. 8 módulos, muy fácil de hacer

Still on the subject of stars... a figure currently decorating my box in the office. Very easy to fold, done with 8 modules.

Diagrama de cada módulo / Module diagram

Colocar pegamento en la parte del módulo que quedó blanca, sin color y pegar el módulo siguiente

Glue the part of the module that has no colour and paste the next module.

Encastre / Assembly

Rotar al finalizar. Rotate when finished

Estrella 4 puntas / 4 point star

Esta estrella es muy simple, está hecha con 4 módulos iguales. Es una de las primeras cosas que aprendí en el mundo del origami.
This is a very simple star, done with 4 identical modules. It´s one of the first things I learned in the Origami world.

Flor-Estrella / Star-Flower

Cuando fui a comprar papelitos de origami, Laura me enseñó la siguiente flor estrella hecha con 5 piezas
Y cuando volví a casa... en una caja encontré una igualita que ya había hecho hacia varios años, con papeles lisos

When I went to buy some origami papers, Laura showed me how to fold the following star-flower - 5 modules
And when I got back home... In a box I found the same star which I had done some years before in plain colors

Esfera / Sphere

Por el momento esta esfera está decorando mi box en la oficina
Son 18 módulos amarillos con 1 papel verde dentro de cada uno

At the moment this ball is decorating my desk at the office.
It is made with 19 yellow modules, with a green paper inserted in each one

Pez / Fish

Hola! Hoy un simple pececito que hice para una compañera de trabajo. Con instrucciones!

Hi! Today just a simple fish I did for a partner at work. With diagram!

Caleidociclo

Este es un modelo "interactivo", se va rotando y aparecen diferentes formas que parecen flores o estrellas.

This is an "interactive" model, you rotate it and different shapes appear, similar to flowers or stars.

Kusudama de 12 piezas / 12 pieces

Buenos días! Primera entrada del blog!

Lo que les muestro hoy es un Kusudama hecho con 12 papeles encastrados.

Cuando era pequeña me gané un modelo como este en un sorteo, y desarmé una pieza para ver cómo estaba hecho.

Good morning! First entry in my Blog!
What I show you today is a 12 piece "Kusudama".
When I was litle I won a model like the one below in a raffle, and I unfolded one of the pieces to see how it was done.
